Superb! What a wonderful and truly unique experience, in all the hostels I've been to around the world Mad Cat's environment truly is so well-curated and I believe it truly attracts a certain kind of mindset and people to it. I'm especially grateful to the wonderful team at hand and it was such a blast meeting people from all over the world, in a lovely social yet comforting environment. There's only one place to stay at in Osaka from here on out!
As mentioned there is a free drink included at the Bar for people who stay, which tends to open from 7 PM! They also have language exchanges on Saturdays which makes for a very nice and lovely time I'll bet. There's a FamilyMart and 7-11 less than 2 minutes away by foot and Ramen Works is also nearby where I had the best bowl of Ramen in my life!
Maru and Kogo keep the balance and are absolutely lovely. Thanks to the lovely Rieko, Yoshi, Kosei, Tim and Lewis!

The area was awesome with some really good food spots nearby. The hostel had free tea and coffee which was nice in the mornings and nights, the beds were also very comfortable to sleep in. They also had 2 very cute cats staying with them!

Bed was very comfortable and the area has a relaxed suburban feel. The two cats were cute.
The location was really challenging for me. It's about 10min walk from a station which isn't so bad but then another 15mins to train to the city centre. So that's an extra hour of commuting daily if you are wanting to see the main tourist sites and attractions. The hostel is also quite small so there's not a huge chance you can meet people to hang out with for your stay. Adding to that, when I was there, most people were nice enough but they were quite independent travellers so just in case it's probably best if you're happy to be an independent traveller too. Also there was one toilet upstairs for all the dorms to share which was usually occupied, and when it wasn't I couldn't actually use it because there wasn't enough space to sit lol... But the toilet downstairs was normal and showers were good. And there wasn't too much space in the dorm room (4 person) for luggage so you could only open one suitcase at a time and most suitcases needed to be stored under the beds when not being accessed.
