Casa Martina is located on a hillside close to Montefascione. It’s a standalone villa within the property, enjoying an unparalleled view of the vast Lake Bolsena and surrounding region. The pictures in the description cannot capture the beauty of this view! It features a beautiful rooftop terrace with seating, another shaded terrace at the front, and two lovely small balconies. It’s spotless, spacious, comfortable and well equipped, with a washing machine, excellent kitchen with microwave, a proper oven and cooktop, large refrigerator and plenty of utensils for self catering. The host, Martina, is really supportive and keeps in touch. Her father, Angelo,is lovely! He’s SO helpful and kind. Nothing is too difficult for him. Be sure to buy his home pressed olive oil: easily the BEST we have ever tasted. There are two large supermarkets a couple of minutes away and plenty of other shops in the town. Plenty of sights within a 30-60 minute drive, too. We had a fantastic stay, with lovely, caring hosts, in this great part of Italy. Thank you Martina and Angelo, from these two Australians.

The house is located in a wonderfully beautiful spot on a hillside. The area is peaceful, even though there is another house almost in the same courtyard. As an added bonus, we had our own “vacation cat,” Miso, during our stay. The shops in the town center are nearby, but the hilly terrain makes having a car practically essential.

The house was somewhat short on tableware for four guests, especially drinking glasses and mugs. The dishwasher, gas stove, and refrigerator are of good quality. Guests should consider stopping at a grocery store before arriving and purchasing all necessary supplies themselves, such as coffee, sugar, and other everyday essentials.
