A lovely boutique. Food is fantastic and very friendly staff.
Some facilities in spa were not working, and would've been nice if there was a wet steam room. And the AC in room feels to cold to be located above the bed.

Fantastic spa hotel, well situated for access to the Elba ferry. The room was nice and clean, but the real attraction was the beautiful spa - underground with vaulted ceilings, and all facilities.
Well located for evening visits to picturesque villages in the area.
Breakfast was ok, but a little more attention would have gone a long way: fresh rolls, etc.

The staff are lovely . The ambiance is very peaceful. I loved the indoor and outdoor pool and all the plants and trees 🫶🌱🪴
At night there was loud banging was coming from on top of my room . Thankfully it lasted around 10 minutes or so. Otherwise I walked out feeling brand new !

The room is for sure okay, well cleaned but lots of details missing. How they had painted around items or light buttons not properly attached. Obviously small things but kinda bother those with eyes for details and finishing.
I arrived late very late night and was asked to pay the tourist tax. The receptionist told me €6.60, I paid with card. As I thought about it, it's an odd sum so I asked where those ¢0.60 came from. The reply was a 10% card payment fee. (On EU MC debit card).
First of all, it is against European law to charge clients for card processing fees EU bank issues cards.
Article 62(4) of Directive (EU) 2015/2366 (PSD2) and is directly linked with Article 19 of the EU Interchange Fee Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2015/751).
Secondly, if they try this scam, at least they should stated before asking clients to pay.
Thirdly, 10% is absolute insane.
(Not about the money but the principle).
I told the reception who did not understand me properly and just laughed/smiled. Very poor experience.
