Our stay at Zrinka House was exceptional!! My boyfriend and I were on a 12-day trip through Croatia, and Zrinka House was our favorite place that we stayed. Zrinka and Barbara are incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They make you feel like family and are excellent chefs! The breakfast, cake, and brownies we enjoyed were delicious. We were honestly considering postponing our trip to Zagreb for another night just so we could stay at Zrinka House longer and enjoy the space.
The property and room were beautiful, exceptionally clean, quiet, and spacious. Very comfortable all around. We will DEFINITELY stay here again if we return to Plitvice!

Oh my.. Zrinka and Barbara are such lovely people and made us feel so welcome. Zrinka's house is a gorgeous place - we were here for two nights... our room was large and so perfectly decorated. and the breakfast spread with Barbara's delicious baking was amazing. They also provide the fixings for making a picnic lunch to take with you to Plitvice (bread, deli meat, cheese, salad greens)... including sandwich bags to carry them in, and encourage you to take fruit, slices of the delicious homemade cake with you as well. Barbara and Zrinka were so sweet. My husband had a knee injury and his knee was swollen, so Barbara insisted on carrying our heavy bags to our room and also gave us ice packs for him to ice his knee. We also enjoyed chatting with Barbara when we came back in the afternoon from Plitvice.. and asked if we could taste the Aura liquers that were in the breakfast area (and we then ended up finding a store in Split to carry back some Aura liquers home with us!).. Thank you Zrinka and Barbara for everything!

An unforgettable stay – even better than the reviews suggest!
Zrinka House is, without a doubt, the best accommodation we have ever stayed at!
Before arriving, we were actually a little skeptical about all the glowing reviews. We thought, surely no place can be THAT good? Well, it turns out it absolutely can – and somehow, it even exceeded our expectations!
Barbara and her mother are genuinely two of the warmest, kindest and most welcoming hosts we have ever met. Their hospitality is simply outstanding, and they have an incredible way of making you feel at home from the moment you arrive.
The room was absolutely perfect – beautifully and tastefully renovated, with a lovely atmosphere. Everything felt fresh, comfortable and thoughtfully designed.
The breakfast was fantastic, with delicious cakes and plenty of lovely treats. We also really appreciated being able to pack something to take with us for the day – such a thoughtful touch!
But what truly makes Zrinka House special is Barbara and her mother. Meeting them was genuinely one of the highlights of our entire trip to Croatia, and something we will remember for a very long time.
As spectacular as the Plitvice Lakes were, Zrinka House somehow left an even stronger impression on us. That says quite a lot!
If we ever find ourselves anywhere near the area again, we will absolutely return. In fact, we would happily make a detour just to stay here.
