The balcony. I stayed at this room only because of the beautiful area there and the beautiful view from the balcony. This is absolutley the main reason. All other things i didn't care about or take into consideration. I didn't even have ot look at them. I was so busy with the balcony and I stayed at the balcony most of my stay there until i slept.
The balcony is sunny and has a very beautiful mountain view and sea view, surrounded by trees, an the beautiful mountains. At night it is also so beautiful the lights covering some of the mountains and the cuty. This is the reason why I chose this place. So beautiful. It was even difficult to go out and miss this beautiful viiew.
Even the area while driving all up towards the facilities is beautiful. I love this area.
I didn't care about anything else except what i described above. I din't even want to think of anything else. I only saw the balcony. For me it's not about the appartment. It's about the view from the balcony. The appartment is very very normal. I prefer not to describe it.
Now there is something else , when i booked it, the amount in USD was 50,71 and i received an email about the price in Dollar. The host there asked for 55 USD. I had prepared from before 51 to give it to him but he said it is 55 even though I showed him the email. I paid the 55. For me this is something very irritating not knowing how much i should pay. I don't care about the 4 or 5 dollars difference and i am sure the host even doesn't care about them but still there is something here too much of how much i should pay when i get there!? This happened before long time ago and because of it each time i book a room and where the money is not directly paid from my account, i would be worried or wondering how much i should pay in cash when i get there for those facilities who take cash. I prefered in this case not to argue about the 4 or 5 dollars because it's not worth it but i admit it is very irrittating when you pay about or approximatley a specific amount instead of paying an exact accurate amount. I am not even sure if this some technical mistake from Booking.com or from the host, or maybe from me because i accepted to pay. It's just that the situation is wrong.
If you tell me now we will return the money i would for sure tell you no because it's not even worth it. It's a matter of principle.

ONLY the view
The view was breathtaking, and the apartment itself was spacious. There were enough beds and the furniture was fine.
Then the surprise started…
1) There was no stable electricity!! ⚡️🔌
I have been to Lebanon a few months ago, so I understand that generators are necessary. Unfortunately, the apartment owner either did not have a generator or chose not to use it. God knows why! Because of this, we had no air conditioning and almost no hot water. We were 6 girls traveling together, and we actually had to make a shower schedule because the hot water was so limited. 😅
The electricity was extremely weak. A very small heater would immediately cut the power. Even a simple Rush Brush hair dryer caused the electricity to shut down.
The apartment is located in the mountains, where the weather is very cold, so this situation was completely unacceptable.
2) Another very confusing and uncomfortable situation 💰💸
Before traveling, we chose two rooms on Booking. However, when we arrived, Madame Aida herself convinced us to take one apartment instead. We agreed with her, confirmed the price, and paid the full amount UPFRONT for 6 nights.
AFTER 4 days, she came back asking us to pay extra money for the second room we originally booked on Booking, even though we were already staying in one apartment, exactly as she suggested and exactly as we paid for.
To make things more confusing, when we checked the price of the chosen apartment on Booking, we found that we had already fully covered the cost!!! There was no reason to ask for any additional payment.
When we explained that we won’t pay more money because it’s completely not fair and we had already planned our finances, she said: خلص اللي تقدروا تدفعوه! 😃
I’m not sure if this was a favor or a charity thing?? Not a paid service with a clear agreement!
3) Security Issue 🚪
Another serious issue was about privacy.
