The hostel is part of the Bed Station chain and there's a Bed Station nearby. It's the quieter of the two hostels, so if you're looking for a quiet transit, it works well. As others have commented, not as social. Location is near two 7-Elevens and 15 min walk to three giant Siam malls and the famous MBK mall, which all have plenty of shopping and food options. On the cheaper end, there's street food nearby and a few restaurants across the main street. It's easy access to/from BKK via 30-45 min on SkyTrain Phaya Thai Station (45 THB) and walking about 15 min. There are escalators to street level, but some steps to deal with.
Stairs to different floors in the hostel are very narrow, without railing, so scary, especially when hauling luggage. Make sure to take it slow and use the walls. Currently, there's the new Orange subway line being built, so lots of construction nearby, but not a bother at night.

good location with the best price. It’s locate near BTS station and very cheap compared to others in same area.
limited number of toilet and bathroom (only one per 8 beds) but I never been waited to use it. No escalator, so you can exercise by climb up to fifth floor.
There are no one when I was there for check-in (I went there around 2PM) so I decided to go shopping and went back latr.

The rooms were pretty nice and also the common area was pretty cool
No airconditioning in the bathroom/sink area, which made the stay a little bit uncomfortable

"It was my second time staying here - the comfort and convenient location are still excellent. Khaosan might just be the best cat ever."
