Really great location within walking distance to anywhere you’d want to go. Friendly staff, comfortable and quiet room and a great smelling lobby ;)

Good location, easy to walk to lots of places. Easy check in. Room walls quite thin, so can hear a lot of people moving around.
Thin walls, so can hear everything - when people come in late, it can be very noisy.

• Very friendly and welcoming reception staff on arrival
• One of the quietest accommodations I stayed at during my trip in Taiwan
• Clean, well-maintained room with no humidity or mold smell
• Comfortable bed and effective air conditioning
• Spacious room with plenty of storage and a built-in wardrobe
• Desk with kettle, tea, complimentary water, fridge and hair dryer
• Blackout curtains that block light very well
• Small balcony useful for drying clothes
• Modern, clean bathroom
• Felt comfortable and at ease immediately
• Very stressful and excessive email communication before arrival
• Strong pressure to cancel the booking and book with their website
• Extremely narrow check-in time window (only about 2 hours), despite reception being staffed outside that timeframe
• Construction noise in the morning
• Pre-arrival communication felt unnecessary and counterproductive

The place is very comfortable, clean and the room even has a washing machine in the balcony. Very good value for the price.
If checking in after 6pm, they expect the fees to be remitted to them beforehand, even if you’re a foreigner without a Taiwan bank account.
Prior to checking in, they were asking me to remit the fees to them - I told them that I didn’t have a Taiwan bank account and I am a tourist. They asked me to find a platform to do so. They do not accept cards, making it very INCONVENIENT and TROUBLESOME.
Fine, I remitted the amount via Revolut as an overseas transfer from Singapore and told them it’ll take 3 - 5 working days.
It was such a hassle having to keep checking if the SWIFT transfer has completed and the amount has been credited into their account.
I even put a cash deposit of the hotel fees the day after I reached as the overseas transfer hasn’t gone in.
On the last day just before I checked out, the overseas transfer still has NOT completed and I was prepared to forfeit my additional cash deposit. - at least the staff went to check with their bank and the amount is indeed transferred but takes sometime as it was in SGD.
