The buffet restaurant was really good and the staff exceptionally welcoming and friendly, they made our daughter feel very special. The facilities were brilliant and the water sports centre had everything you could need. The room we had was fantastic with lots of space for all 3 of us and the view was stunning. The organisation from the Cocoon back to Male airport was seamless. Hassan from the water sports centre, Nasif the restaurant manager and Dede the Japanese Garden Chef stood out to us all as being fantastic, kind and warm people. Nasif gave our daughter a fresh flower for her hair everyday and Hassan got her wake boarding in 2 attempts. Dede gave us a cracking show at the Japanese restaurant and again, made our daughter feel very special indeed. Many thanks to all the staff at Cocoon but these 3 in particular. Any problems we had with the room or otherwise were dealt with immediately which speaks volumes for how well the resort is run. 5 stars all round for that.
Although it was good, there was only one choice of restaurant for the all inclusive package, the other two were chargeable and expensive and portion sizes way, way too large. The mini bar nuts were also chargeable which is slightly frustrating when you've paid so much for an all inclusive package and most of what was in the mini-bar was also chargeable.
The white wine included in the all inclusive package was very, very, poor (battery acid would be a good description) which is a shame as it spoilt the overall high quality of the food, and if you bought a bottle of chargeable wine, the cheapest was $70!
The waiting time to get from Male to Cocoon was very poor due to the weather conditions but it was not helped when we arrived at Cocoon and were dropped off at a platform and left there for 10 minutes while the boat messed around for a reason unknown to us, rather than being taken straight to the resort, we effectively lost half a day of our stay with no remuneration for this.

The location is fantastic, but it was the exceptional staff that really made our stay memorable. Our Island Host, Nappe ensured our requirements and requests were met with ease. Jewel who serviced our room daily was so very attentive and just a beautiful man. Operations Manager Afeef was a wealth of information regarding the Maldives and a pleasure to speak with. All of the staff, from the bars, restaurants and spa were very attentive. Absolutely exceptional!

We would like to thank all the staff of Cocoon Maldives for their warm welcome and excellent service. In particular, Butler Riyaz demonstrated a high level of professionalism and outstanding quality of care. All our requests were handled promptly, accurately, and with great attention to detail. His calm manner of communication, sense of responsibility, and readiness to assist at any moment made our stay exceptionally comfortable.
We didn’t like that there were a lot of mosquitoes — they were biting both day and night. The staff explained that this is normal during the rainy season, while in the dry season there are almost none. The team tried to fight the mosquitoes with smoke and sprays, but unfortunately it didn’t help much.

very clean, Personals very friendly
very bad welcoming after a long-way trip from Germany with baby, no welcoming, we were thirsty and tired , there is no welcoming drink and they let us hold the baby and walk to the room !!!
Sea plane need one and half hour to reach the island , then they took you with boot from plane to the Island not like any other Islands in the Maledives!!
it is not really All inklusive, only one restaurant is In!!
the drinks for All inklusive were terrible!
