The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The hotel was a 10-ish minute walk from the station and close to restaurants. We only stayed one night and it was perfectly acceptable.
We stayed in an APA hotel in Morioka that was a bit newer and slightly more comfortable. This one in Aomori didn't have space to store large suitcases (E.g., under the bed as in Morioka), which made the room a bit cramped.

The buffet breakfast serves a large varieties of local cuisine.
I reserved a non- smoking room. However, there was cigarette smell in the corridor. Therefore, I noticed that I was allocated to a smoking room.

The bed was a little bit too soft.

"Located in a very nice neighbourhood. Right across from a konbini. Cozy room. Walkable distance from the pier, restaurants, temples etc."
