Nice place with lots of original features. Close proximity to local attractions and the Centre of Town. Matt Molloy’s definitely worth a visit and the Clew Bay Cruise, which is about a 20 minute walk from the Hostel. The place itself was very clean and tidy but for me, it’s the staff that make it. They were super friendly and welcoming, with a special mention to Daniella who is a great credit to the Hostel.
Could definitely do with more sockets in the rooms for phone charging, etc. and also some more hooks for hanging clothing, etc. both in the rooms and restrooms/ showers. A refit is apparently on the cards very shortly and I believe that feedback with be taken on-board with view to any improvements that can be made. These are very small things of course and would certainly never prevent us from staying again in the future.

Easy to check in and very affordable
Not the cleanest or best hostel I’ve stayed in, but a good stopover from Galway.

Centrally located, comfortable beds, great kitchen with parking just behind the property
The dorm rooms have thin walls, so you can hear all the screaming laughing from other rooms
