The hotel is built on a very impressive scale, the staff were all very helpful, the restaurant had a superb range of chinese and international foods both at breakfast and dinner (I never needed lunch). My 5th floor room was very large and well appointed with bath/shower, large bed and comfortable sofa. The balcony overlooked a nice garden and you could see the sea in the distance. Everything worked well except the air conditioning which I struggled to control properly
Really there was nothing I would change.

Impressive lobby, large rooms, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere
Good variety of freshley cooked food in the buffet restaurant, and loved the noodle bar, but ingredients not clear so difficult for vegetarians or those with dietary requirements to know what they're eating.

The room was large. It was reasonably close to the beach. The buffet breakfast was good.
Many services were closed - the pools, ability to eat outdoors. There were numerous items needing repair - the outdoor pools, the bathtub in my room.
