I searched for the most authentic riad experience in Marrakech and I believe i found it at Riad Dombaraka. The owner Dominique was very friendly and helpful, the staff were outstanding and felt like a family. The rooms were fabulous and decorated authentically, We had the top open terraced room (Berber) first which was amazing, it felt like a little village with amazing rooftop views. Next we swapped rooms with our travelling companions so they could benefit from this room, and the second 'red' room (Dormir) was large spacious and beautifully decorated with a better bed/ pillows. The breakfast was amazing, all homemade, jams and marmalade with breads and a really nice yoghurt. Very central- and Dominique provided a very helpful description map on arrival to guide you to the tourist attractions and the Jema al Fna main square, and also some lovely cafe and restaurant recommendations. The riad also provides lunches or evening meals which were very tasty. The property has its own Hammam and massage room which I used and felt very relaxed afterwards.
The pillows in the top room could have been better as they were in the 'red' room. The shower in the 'red' room had a large (knee high) wall to step over which could be difficult if you have mobility issues- but it was ok for me, this is just to advise anyone booking in future.

Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful but central and easy to get around. Rooms were comfortable and amazing condition + the owner was incredibly friendly? helpful, and a lovely person with great recommendations for the area! You’re missing out if you stay anywhere else!

Absolutely beautiful property, beautiful square and pool alongside amazing traditional features- it was breathtaking and I couldn’t recommend enough. The location was perfect, a little further away from the main square (only around 15-20 mins walk) and less touristic- a perfect walk through the souks and countless fantastic options to eat within 15 mins walk. Dominique was so lovely and welcoming and a huge help in terms of educating us on directions as soon as we arrived, tips for the city etc- The rest of the staff were also so kind and helpful. The lunch was also delicious! Definitely worth trying. I honestly have no complaints whatsoever and would visit again in a heartbeat or recommend to anyone else.
Nothing to complain about at all. I would recommend to book the airport transfer via Dominique as it would be very confusing trying to navigate yourself. As a heads up your taxi will stop a little before the Riad and you will be helped with your bags through the centre of the medina as it is impossible to drive on these streets; we actually really enjoyed this as it gave a taste for the atmosphere of the medina before arriving and was an exciting experience.

Location was great, breakfast was good. Overall staff was nice, but there was one employee who was not always very nice.
When we arrived, we were told that beer and wine was complimentary and available in the kitchen's refrigerator. However, on our last day, a different employee said no, and charged me for some beer which I consumed. He was also not very nice about it. I feel this was a "bait and switch" situation where I was told it was free and then charged for it. I felt he was not going to arrange my transportation to the airport so I reluctantly paid it.
