I stayed at Ulu Segara for a couple of night before my international flights. During my stay in Nusa Dua area I unfortunately got the sick. The hotel staff were very supportive and helpful and attentive and went above and beyond to help me through my sickness and weakness. They made special plain food and managed to get a doctor to check on me. As I was traveling alone, being solo was quite difficult and was grateful for their kind treatment.
The only two reasons I didn’t give it 10/10 is:
1) Strong mold smell and rusty kitchen and cabinets. It really could use a proper upgrade.
2) the parachutes were flying over the villa I was staying at which made my stay outside in the pool area uncomfortable as some of the people flying over were flying low and some staring.
So I didn’t get the privacy I paid for.

Biggest king bed room with panoramic sea view I’ve ever seen in Bali. Good wifi and comfortable modern King bed ..Included breakfast buffet was well organised and delicious local and western options included .
Great coffee .
Friendly staff but need a little more training to compete better with similar resorts in Nusa Dua .
Pool chemistry could use a little tweak and Pool Bar towards beach occupies an odd spot and was closed when we looked late afternoon ?

The staff were very pleasant and the menu had a good range of options (local and western). Our room was very comfortable and good value.
The main poolside restaurant was closed for renovation during our day which we did not know when we booked. However the noise was kept to a real minimum.
