Lovely location but hard to find. Bed and shower excellent. Cockerel in the morning was a …bonus? Glad it wasn’t light at 4 am! Good walking round the farm, meeting the cat.
Couldn’t get the hob to work - might have been us! No cupboard for food. Out of date coffee in cupboard.

I have stayed at Boreland Farm before. I love the peaceful location. The comfortable beds. The cosy but plentiful space. No traffic, no light pollution, just peace and quiet and fresh air. It has everything you need for a wee break. The views from the cottage are amazing!! Lovely empty rural roads to walk my pup, and Thornhill is a short drive away.
The only drawback is it takes a while to get there and find Boreland, as it is out of the way.

Location was good
Privacy was good
House was cosy
Shower was hot and powerful
Having animals on site was fun
Shower tray leaked out onto mat
Not as clean as others had found it
Not sure the extra £10 for taking a dog is being spent on ensuring its dog hair free for next occupants.
