Great location with good facilities. .
No window in second bedroom!!!! Won’t stay again due to that. Wasn’t apparent or noted.

This was a bit of a surprise motel as we only booked it as a quick stopover and checked in early.
The rooms were excellent with a very comfortable bed, nice modern bathroom and plenty of room including a settee.
It was about a 10 minute walk uphill to some reasonable looking restaurants which was maybe too far for our old bodies so we had a delivery from a pizza place.
We did arrive early (12.15) and were a tad surprised to be asked for $20 an hour extra for an early checkin. The other half offered $20 which was accepted but I wonder if this is standard practice for NZ motels these days. It certainly isn't for Oz motels as we owned two in Queensland and wouldn't have dreamt of charging extra if the room was available. This one wasn't quite but a quick vacuum by the boss and it was.

Adequate 2 bedroom unit, roomy and warm. Parking area very good. Not much to be done about the road noise as it is the same in all off Timaru's Main road accommodation.
A nice place to stay overnight.
More kitchen supplies x 4 Cups, plates, cutlery not always enough. A very small kitchen area and dishes had to be done after every cup of coffee. A toilet brush in the bathroom would have been nice. Maybe another comfy chair. A 2seater sofa and 4 dining chairs not very relaxing for 4 adults. No major problem for an overnight stay only.
