It was like a wood cabin in Sweden.
It was a bit dated.

Loved it. I admit I haven’t stayed in many lodges or hostels for a long time and I don’t whether this is typical of New Zealand lodge accommodation, but I thought it was outstanding. The room was excellent and had a chair and table allowing me to have a lovely view. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and the lounge inviting and homey. It was quiet, safe and I was really, really impressed.
Nothing. I thought it was EXCELLENT.

Clean, spacious and comfortable
Maybe would have liked outer doors to lock just for complete safety.
