Glorious grounds in a splendid setting. Proximity to Ambleside is extremely convenient - a beautiful walk away. The view from the room was breathtaking. Staff here are warm, kind & knowledgeable.
Unclear booking process. Do not overpay for a family with kids - if in doubt, ring the property to ensure you're paying the correct rate.

Spacious room. Great views and location. Easy check in and out process.
Bathroom needs some work doing to it (old fashioned and needs re-grouting).
Wish we could have had a cooked breakfast.

Staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was good value for money and a chalet style location. Very quiet, although the walls appeared a little thin on the second morning - I could hear someone in the next room moving around. However, for the value - no complaints,
Nothing but good value for money. I wouldn't pay more than I did, so I think it was perfectly priced.
