The location was very peaceful, the staff were friendly, and the restaurant served delicious food. The red wine recommended to us was also excellent. We had a wonderful three-day stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time here!
One of the floorboards was very noisy when we walked on it, which made us worry about disturbing other guests at night. The showerhead holder in the bathroom was also broken. We hope these issues can be checked and fixed before future guests check in.

The hosts were the most lovely people. We had dinner twice (best cevapi and venison stew!) and and the food was amazing. Both times we had a bottle of red wine recommended by Mat, both very delicious. Breakfast had great options, he even made some fresh eggs for us.
Entrance to the park through entrance 3 is very easy, we got great tips from them how to walk the route.

Villa Sumrak was wonderful! Great location, close to the best Plitvica Lakes Park entrance! We rented the "studio" which was a lovely, very large room with huge windows. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we slept like babies in their big, fluffy comforters! It was quiet and peaceful, the food was very good, the staff was very sweet and hardworking. Best of all, our host, Mat, was just the nicest person ever, and made the whole atmosphere genuinely warm and welcoming! We would highly recommend staying here!!
There was nothing we didn't like!
