The hotel is very dated and a bit quirky but very clean and quiet. The room was very large - probably was an apartment at one time. the room had many unique amenities that were interesting - you can grind your own coffee by hand for example. the room temperature is good - A/C and the lighting is very good, with many windows.
The room decor is very dated.

Small size located in quiet neighborhood near attractions I wanted to see. Breakfast was fantastic!
Carpets were a little threadbare.

This hotel has a truly unique atmosphere. The rooftop restaurant is top-notch and the breakfast is exceptionally sophisticated.

Breakfast is tasty and they rotate between Western and Japanese depending on how many days you reside. Very fresh and light breakfast.
Nothing! The Alexa utilized lighting was a little difficult to use but that's due to personal lack of Japanese skills.
