Quiet, large and comfortable rooms.
There is no beach. When you have transport you can drive in about 5 minutes to a wonderful beach where you can swim. There are sunbeds for rent from FUSAKI resort.

The staff were so helpful and friendly.
The shuttle bus between villa gardens and ocean villa was very handy.
Breakfast was great with a wide range of choices and differs day to day.
The shuttle bus to and from the airport took a lot of stress out of travelling.
Our room was very comfortable with loads of amenities.
To be aware the property is not near a beach. When I booked I assumed the ocean villas would have a beach.
However, Fusaki beach is a 10 min drive away. I would recommend hiring a car - there are options through the villa and the company can drop off the car at the hotel.
The dinner options at the villa are expensive with no middle to low range options. If you want to eat outside then you’ll need to take a taxi/rent a car as it’s about 40/50 min walk to the centre.
To also note our final day we did struggle to book/ hail down a taxi in the evening.

The location was perfect and convenient for everything we wanted to do. The roof terrance was a cool experience. Staff were super friendly. The cleanliness was outstanding. I appreciate the options for eco or normal room cleaning.
The breakfast options were all of the same while there were many options they didn’t change at all.

Friendly and helpful staff
The resort feel stops at the impressive entrance
- really small pool (do not be tricked by images of much larger pool at neighboring hotel under same brand, shown on web) which unlike neighbor resort closes at 18:00, and only a dozen of deckchairs for several 100s of guests
- uninspiring restaurants all with indoor seating in spite of the spectacular view. Breakfast restaurant runs out of many things at 09:30 and no-one seems to have the responsibility of checking for this and fill up.
- our rooms were not well maintained with very well used furniture, damp spots on ceiling etc.
- we had more comfortable sleeping quarters on a futon in a lodge on top og Mount Hakuba. Beds are rock hard and your head rests on a bag of rice. Why ???
- NO BEACH. Fair enough geographically, but could be mentioned on hotel web site
- a lack of even basic English skills throughout
Overall hotel caters to Japanese guests which of course is fine given this is the majority of visitors. But at the price one could expect a little more of the international resort feel any Thai 3* hotel will deliver
