Location, view, staff
Lots of black mold on the outside of the hotel in our view line, nest of large hornets outside our window. When we opened the window, the hornets came into our room. Rules were a bit overboard, at least in English.

The property is beautiful. The central location, the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, the superb Japanese dinners and the splendid Japanese or Western-style breakfasts. The table service from the waitresses is impeccable.
The rooms are large and beautiful.
Nothing.

The location is perfect, not too close to the busy touristic streets and yet not too far from the main sights. Room was clean and spacious. All amenities were at hand. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful!!! We had a vegetarian meal which was a culinary delight from beginning till end. We will definitely stay again when in Miyajima.

Beautiful resort, welcoming and helpful staff, included many amenities, and was one of the best parts of our experience in Miyajima.
There was nothing we did not like.
