I stayed in room 601 at slaney suite's it was a great size room I really liked this room for me a single man it was the perfect size and was very comfortable.i arrived late as I had to work that day.The lady on reception was brilliant she was welcoming and she had a great smile after she showed me the way to the slaney suite's which is just a short 200 metres walk.the hotel is right beside the quays which for me is perfect for getting a bus to Davidstown 368 for prima Archery.

Mixed Experience
The receptionist was not the friendliest, which unfortunately didn’t make the best first impression (We checked in at around 3.30pm)
One of the main disappointments was the cost of using the swimming pool. We had to pay €30 for three adults, a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old. Keep the ticket they give you at the pool reception. So that you can go back to the hotel and request a voucher. The hotel provides a voucher that can be used at either the bar or the restaurant. Luckily, we used the pool on the day of arrival, so we were able to make use of the voucher.
The website does mention that there is an additional charge for the pool facilities, which are located outside the hotel (although close by). However, €30 is quite steep. We were informed at 3:30 pm that the pool would close at 5:30 pm that Saturday, so we hurried over as quickly as possible. When we arrived at the pool reception, we were told we only had 45 minutes to use the facilities. Paying €30 for just 45 minutes felt very unreasonable...
The hotel appears to be family-friendly, but unfortunately, there is very little for children to enjoy. Even finding somewhere to have dinner as a family was a challenge. The bar is very small, with insufficient tables to accommodate guests who want to eat. We tried to book a table at the main restaurant but were told it wasn’t possible. Many of the tables were occupied by people sitting and drinking for hours, leaving us unable to find somewhere to have dinner with our children.
We went outside to look for alternatives, but there were very few other places to eat nearby. We then asked at the hotel’s Thai restaurant. We hadn’t considered it initially because we were travelling with my parents, who don’t enjoy Thai food, and we assumed that was the only cuisine available. To our surprise, they also offered a European menu with Irish and Italian options.
The lady working at the restaurant was incredibly friendly and did her best to accommodate us.
