We had the most wonderful stay at Koh Yao Yai village. Everything was exceptional, our villa was stunning, comfortable and exceptionally clean. Staff were friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful and attentive. The food was fantastic throughout. A special mention to Art and his team in the restaurant who went over and above to look after us during our stay. We had the most wonderful stay on our honeymoon.

The resort grounds are beautiful, and the spacious rooms in the middle of the jungle give a great atmosphere. Complimentary snacks and drinks were a nice touch. The two pools have breathtaking ocean views, and visiting during the low season meant it was very peaceful and great value for money. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.
The location is very isolated with almost nothing within walking distance, which made the poor restaurant food very frustrating.
Lunch and dinner were disappointing, orders took forever, and cocktails were hit-or-miss depending on the barthender.
The room wasn't clean enough and had an excessive amount of bugs and geckos (even for a jungle resort), and parts of the property felt a bit under-maintained...

This is a fantastic setting.
The resort is beautiful and very well kept.
Very friendly staff.
Food was amazing
Cocktails were also top shelf.
The sheer size meant that every time you wanted to go somewhere, you had to arrange a golf cart to collect you. It is a free service, but I felt like it took some of my freedom of movement away while waiting for the cart to arrive. Yes, I’m impatient.
