Fantastic stay! We stayed here in one of the cabins for 1 week to explore the fjord region untouched by cruise ships. The location, the views, staff, the food were all excellent. Couldn't have chosen a better place to stay on the fjord!
Nothing.

Excellent hotel with the best meals I’ve ever had, the food is 10/10 and the staff are so lovely.
The location was tricky without a car. It’s not easily accessible and the bus only runs twice a day from the port at Balestrand. The hotel offer a pick up service for extra charge, best to organise that in advance.

Everything was great — the location, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the quality of the food, and more.
We would have preferred access to an elevator, but knew we’d have to do without one.

We loved the location. Hiking trails just outside the door was lovely. The meals were wonderfully prepared.
There was nothing to dislike.
