The room was everything we needed and the hotel was in a good location for shops and restaurants without using the car

Basic hotel, warm, clean room.

Couldn't order room service drinks with the QR code in the room "Bella" said she was "on it" - nothing arrived. Tried again - it just constantly glitched. Useless. Staff in the bar weren't openly rude but the 3-4 of them milling around behind the bar were disinterested, disengaged, unaware people were waiting, broke off mid serve to do something else when interrupted by another member of staff and disappeared for a couple of minutes with a slight air of "Oh!" when asked for ice to be added to G&T which was served in wrong sized glasses. It was actually quite funny to watch such an extraordinary level of unenthusiasm.
