Excellent location, ideal for if you are staying prior to joining a cruise ship which is what we did - was only 15 minutes or so in a taxi.
Also very close to the main park and zoo, and many different restaurants and bars
No issues

Easy to get around either walking of using the hop on hop off bus. Many restaurants near by.
Noisy neighbours returning to their rooms at 2-3 am with our room next to the lift.
