Amazing sunset viewing over the city of Rome in a beautiful villa with amazing history. Very nice staff.
It's important to have the right expectations going in. The villa is does not get the level of upkeep that would be needed to make this place as lovely as it could be which leads to a weird mix of luxurious & economy surroundings. Room furnishings are dated and not in a fun historical way, including the bed which was not very comfortable. Wifi coverage is very limited to one area (which is interesting because I did see Wifi routers or repetitors in the hallway, so there was an attempt at some point, but probably part of the maintenance cost they simply can't/don't invest in). There is one very small elevator (2 people can fit), so if you arrive with or at the same time as a tour group/bus will be a problem.
