Howfield manor is located in a fantastic area, just outside Canterbury, ideal for visiting the city and other nearby places. 😊
The staff were very friendly, the gardens beautiful and the room itself was very cosy and quiet.
Breakfast good, and freshly cooked
Our only negative was the shower! It was very temperamental going from VERY hot to freezing cold.

Good location to the wedding venue we were headed to. Lovely looking property. Good looking menu and selection at breakfast. Food was okay, manager seemed friendly.
The bed was not too comfortable and felt like it was dipping on one side-very uncomfortable sleep. Black hairs found all on the bathroom floor. Lack of urgency with staff- had to find them a few times to get served. Service was quite slow. When we saw the large onion rings that came with the steak on the table next to us we confirmed our choice however received tiny ones that looked like the frozen ones. Just little things that added up at the end to not feel the stay was value for money.
