Really nice hotel in a cosy Singel district.

Location, location, location. It was the perfect location for all the sight seeing we had planned. Really appreciated the fan. Staff was great and breakfast was good.
Whole bathroom floor got wet when taking a shower. An extra bath mat would have been helpful.

We absolutely loved the location. The room layout was a bit unusual, but we still loved it, and the breakfast was fantastic—with a great variety—though the arrangement of the dining tables was also a bit odd. Overall, we were very happy.
However, what we experienced was horrible. All the hotel staff—with the exception of one woman—were charming and very kind. Everyone except her. A woman at the reception desk—blond, with short hair and wearing glasses—behaved very poorly toward us. She failed to properly check our booking, which included bed and breakfast; she assumed my son was eating breakfast without being entitled to it and insisted that we had to pay for it! Yet, the booking details were perfectly clear. Anyone can make a mistake—myself included—but that is not the issue. The problem was the tone she used and her rude manner; she practically treated us like thieves, even though she was the one who had made the mistake, rather than attempting to clarify the situation in a calm and composed way. I would advise against staying at this hotel, if only to avoid the risk of running into that person again.
