THE VIEWS DO NOT GET BETTER THAN THIS! This photo was taken from the dining room table one evening. We recently have been watching the whales from the same dining room table. The panoramic views are breathtaking, whether from the home, the spa, or walking along the beach or picnicking on the bluff. Watch the ocean transform from sunrise to sunset, with the Mendocino Lost Coast framing the horizon. Enjoy a romantic or family-friendly stay in our contemporary home on 5 ocean-front acres. In the evenings enjoy the wood burning stove, or watch the stars and listen to the ocean from the comfort of the hot tub. Walk along the many beaches stretching along the Ocean, and enjoy the tidal pools, seals and vistas. The property shares the private beach shown in the photo, and has it's own private cove, accessible at low tide and known for the sea glass to be found in its sands.
The nearby seaside village of Westport makes for a pleasant walk. There is a small store in the adjoining campground with essentials, and a quaint store in the village. We are comfortably far from shopping malls and fast food, and very close to the ocean waves and the stars.

This house is a gem. Wonderful location, scrupulously clean, all the necessities, and possibly the best "about your stay" information packet we've ever seen. The beach below the campground is perfect for quiet walks, and the coves to the south (accessible at low tide) are a wonderland of starfish and anemones and mussels. Sitting in the hot tub and watching the sun sink into the Pacific was a peaceful treat.

My family enjoyed another annual vacation in this beautiful home. Dan the owner is the best! The views and yard are stunning! The picnic over looking the bluffs is my favorite spot to sit and drink my coffee in the mornings. We were sad to have to leave as always and already looking forward to next years vacation. Wish we could come more! It is our home away from home at this point. Angel Hill

Cottage was comfortable, view amazing. Traffic on the road to the campground below awful. Constant traffic right next to the house. Tuesday-Wednesday not to bad. Thursday increased. Friday constant traffic. Disappointed in that I asked about noise from the campground, told not an issue. Was not told about the traffic issue.
