A beautiful room with a view over Lochness. The bed was comfy and big which was perfect. Breakfast consisted of a delicious continental selection to start, followed by freshly prepared dishes ordered from the menu, rather than a traditional buffet.
The shower wasn't very powerful.
One small disappointment was the hotel's Facebook page advertised a champagne welcome on arrival in front of the beautiful open fire. Unfortunately we weren't offered any champagne during our arrival or stay. As we were leaving to go out for dinner, we actually saw another couple being welcomed with champagne, which made the omission a little more disappointing. It would have been nice to receive the same welcome that had been advertised, as it was something we had been looking forward to as part of the experience.

The property was well presented and beautifully maintained. The staff were all very professional and extremely helpful. The decor was second to none. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding.
There was nothing I didn’t like
