Very well built lodges. Don’t think it’s a “garden shed”. It’s a very substantial lodge with beautiful joinery and fixtures. Especially noticed the electric heating inside the double glazing, that gave the room a subtle warmth throughout our stay. Breakfast is fab as is the evening menu.

Very nice pub/rooms, staff were excellent. Food was brilliant, Al a cart is not cheap, but well worth the money. Best meal I have had in a while. We will be going back, say no more!
The room was a bit wiffy. It was a shame as it was the only thing that let the property down. In the morning following showers the smell was gone. We suspect the room had not been used for a few days and water in the drain was a little bit stagnant. I learnt something new and if I ever detect a similar smell I will run the shower for a few minutes!

Very comfortable and clean
Perhaps a little fridge would be a good idea? The flooring did look abit naff too.

The area was nice, the hot tub and its location were nice. The food in the pub was also great. They had also supplied two fans for the room to help keep cool
The large main window was situated above the main pub entrance. As it was hot, the window needed to be open, and the roller blind did not fit well. We could hear the front car park traffic really well.
