The lodge only has about 8 rooms. All of the guests we met were instant friends and shared the adventures the had done. The staff was super friendly and treated us like family. The supper was AMAZING! I had the porkchops and my husband and the t-bone steak. We didn't try the breakfast, we usually don't eat breakfast, but other guests were very happy with it. There are 2 pools in the shade, and after a day of fun in 100F it felt sublime!

Easy check-in and check out
There was some work done at the property and we didn’t have any hot water at first. As soon as we brought it up to the front desk attention, they figured it out.

No variety...same choice of food daily
Shower gel was not supplied in quantities which match number of people...knowing that 5 people booked then you provide only 1 bottle what will others use

The staff were extremely helpful from beginning to end. They really went all out to assist, and were very pleasant while at it.
The breakfast service could really use some change. There was one person serving the whole restaurant and even though she was quite efficient, she was overwhelmed and the self service options were limited. The shortcomings were enough to dampen an otherwise perfect stay. If I’m ever to come back, I will need double reassurance that changes have happened.
