Hotel du port

This is a lovely little hotel right on the edge of the estuary. Our room faced the water with a little balcony + table and 2 chairs. The bed was comfy, the shower was fine and it included a nice continental breakfast . The food in the restaurant was exceptional. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and will definitely return.

Nothing.

Lovely friendly welcome. Excellent view. Spoke English well! Large room, comfy bed and good shower. Good food in the restaurant.

It rained a lot! Can't blame the hotel for the weather

Good location. Room with balcony overlooking harbour and close to bars and restaurants

No concierge service on arrival although keys left in box by entrance. Didn’t find out if there was secure storage for bicycles. Not a problem as bikes folded and carried up to room and stored in balcony

The room was clean. The bed was comfy. It was quiet with a nice sea view. The shower was good though the bathroom was a bit of a tight squeeze. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was adequate with coffee on demand, a choice of breads and pastries, berry jam, fresh orange juice, and cheese, or eggs in the little room on the 1st floor.

There was no one there at all to welcome us. Just a key left in a safe box and no reply to any telephone number. Anxious time until the staff arrived at 6pm. ( Creates a bad 1st impression !) There were no bedside tables and minimal storage space. There isn't really any reception or hotel lobby, so its feels more like 6 rooms above a restaurant rather than a hotel, but its a very pretty bay and was very quiet and relaxing in March.
