We had a wonderful stay at Fosshotel Mývatn! The hotel is beautiful, and our suite was fantastic. It was spacious, comfortable, and a great place to relax after a full day of exploring the area.
The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and everything we needed to start our mornings. We really enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the hotel and how peaceful and relaxing our stay felt.
We loved our time here and would absolutely stay again on our next visit to the Mývatn area. Highly recommend!
While we really enjoyed the breakfast, we felt the dinner at the hotel was just okay. It wasn't bad, but it didn't quite live up to the same level as the rest of our experience. That being said, it certainly wouldn't keep us from staying here again!

We stayed at Fosshotel Mývatn for two nights and enjoyed our stay.
The hotel is conveniently located for exploring Lake Mývatn and nearby attractions, including the Mývatn Nature Baths. There is also a small grocery store and an award-winning fish-and-chips restaurant just a short drive away.
We bought takeaway fish and chips, and they were delicious!
The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a good variety of choices. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and really enjoyed the food.
One of the highlights was the beautiful view overlooking Lake Mývatn. The outdoor terrace is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
We also tried looking for the Northern Lights at night, but unfortunately, we weren't lucky enough to see them.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would happily return.
The room was a little smaller than we expected, but otherwise, everything was fine.
