hostel is on L3 of the building
character-filled, large common spaces, kitchen, simple roof terrace
dorms: spacious, outlets in the room, lockers, firm beds and slim pillows
location is about 15min easy walk from top of cable car Line 1 from bus terminal.
thankfully Carrera 23 is fairly flat, unlike a lot of steep streets in Manizales
Manizales wasn't what I was expecting from information - I can't find much to like.
Be aware that cathedral is closed due to significant damage (have a look) in 2026 quake - I would guess well into 2027 for possible access.

The public places and my room was super comfortable and very much worth the price. I also want to highlight friendly staff and a volunteer.
The location is in heart of the old city which in the end was not optimal for best places of the city but this has very little to do with hostel itself.

Nice hostel in the center of Manizales, next to a street full of little shops. Rooms are big and the common areas are enjoyable. Price was very fair and the staff was very responsive
