Excellent location: 15 minutes from the train station and 1 minute from the Old Town gates. An old Italian villa featuring a lovely terrace with a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Simple and quick self check-in; very clean and cozy, with a fully equipped shared kitchen. Luggage can be left in the lobby. An excellent choice for budget travelers.

Villa Socini was a very charming, affordable and comfortable stay, in an excellent location - directly across the road from Centro historico, and a 10 minute walk from the train station. It was fantastic value for money, and the host provided clear and helpful instructions to access the property.
An additional charge just to use the washing machine (to do your own washing) is unreasonable, given it is self check-in.

We had a large room (suite), it was very clean. The Villa is located just outside one of the town gates so it was a very easy walk to the centre. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and there is a lovely terrace with a view where you can sit.
Unfortunately our room faced a busy road so it was noisy at night. As there was no AC we had to keep the windows open which meant we couldn't rest properly. We were provided with a fan but in June is very hot, so AC would have really made a difference. The owner texted me to ask if I had a dog in the room just because I had a dog in my Whatsapp profile picture which I found invasive.
