The room and common area was very nice. We were able to gather and meet several others. Our check in went flawless. We had the sense some were coming here to see the northern lights as the location was quite remote.

The property was located about 10 miles on a very rough road. It was sort of like finding a diamond in the rough when we reached the guesthouse.

Room was lovely clean & new amenities with a verandah out the back to view aurora. Big well appointed kitchen & fridge to store food.

The room was ok. But in our trip to Iceland we have been in very remote places paying the same amount per night and having less issues.

Our room was very humid and we had only 1 window and outside that window we had combustion liquids (see pictures). The shared kitchen is very limited and a bit dirty. On our last morning there was no electricity nor water. So no option to eat breakfast before starting our journey. When we took a shower all the water came out of the bathroom into the room. When we checked the drain of the shower was FULL of hair. So we had to take it out in order to be able to take a shower without getting water into the room.
