The Buffet Breakfast was excellent. The room was big and had a view of the mountains. We were fortunate enough to witness a very long display of fireworks one night. The hotel lobby hall was grand and beautiful.
The bed and pillows were stinky with body odour when we first check-in. Fortunately, the house cleaning staff were obliging in changing the pillows and bed covers. However, the cushions and the couch were also stinky and couldn't be changed. An oxygen machine and a humidifier were provided. However, when we asked for the oxygen machine to be checked as it didn't seem to produce enough oxygen, the staff who came by wasn't very helpful. She unfortunately had a strong unwashed body odour as well, as if the uniform/costume had been re-used many days without washing.

The location was good, and the rooms were comfortable.
The food could be better (both range and quality) for a Shangrila hotel. The staff did not speak english, and many family members found it difficult to communicate with them. Some staff were very helpful but some did not have much initiative - the overall service did not feel like what a Shangrila hotel should have.

The location of the hotel is convenient
The hotel has serious management & staffing issues. Breakfast every morning was a complete mad house! The staff could never cope with the amount of customers. On both days I had to clean my won table and find my own cutlery. Similar situation upon check out. During our check out there as a long queue of guests waiting but the entire reception had only ONE! staff on duty. At the end every one just dropped their room key at the counter and left
