Very attractive setting. The rooms are cute (perhaps a bit cutesy). The aircon in the rooms works well but there is no wifi. Food is good.
Excursion to fish river canyon was excellent and well worth it. Although it's a very long drive it is worth going!
Rooms don't have any space for clothes.
The main building does not have air-conditioning or fans so it gets very hot. The Terrace needed sweeping and the outside tables need to be cleaned more regularly (bird poo). Given that you have to go there to get WiFi it's not comfortable.
The lodge is a very long way from the tar road and there are no signs along the way until the very end. The website could give more information on how to get there.

Absolutely spectacular location, beautiful setting amongst the boulders and mountains. A real paradise. The staff are amazing, the food is excellent. Try to stay more than one night to enjoy your surroundings. Fish River Canyon is about 20 minute drive and is spectacular.

Beautiful location and the lodge was stunning. Most amazing views and wished we had stayed longer.
Although the staff were friendly, they weren’t attentive and had to be chased multiple times for things like drink orders, glasses and coffee in the morning. Seemed a bit disorganised either due to lack of training or being understaffed as it was busy. For a high end hotel, would expect better service.

Wow…I don’t have words! Nestled between the rocks, each room is uniquely tucked away using natural elements, like a rock forming the wall in our bathroom. Absolute luxury and just spectacular. The entire lodge is breathtaking. Food, staff, location. Serenity! Sunset view point was a treasure! Bird life! Immaculate!
