Unbelievable that this place was not fully booked. the place is brilliant. It’s not only a short walk to the gate 7 (the one you use at 4am to see the sunrise over Borobudur temple) but has views over Merbabu & Merapi AND the temple. To see to sunset behind the Temple is just magical. And doing it from a very comfortable roof terrace of your guesthouse is perfect perfect perfect. The room was super clean and the bed comfortable. The owners are happy to help you with any questions you have and cook you a lovely breakfast too. I rented a scooter from them and it ran fantastic and for a good price. Stop searching for the best option for your stay in Borobudur because this is it! Thanks for a great stay.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, helped me to book laundry next door and gave me an umbrella for visiting the temple in the afternoon showers. Breakfast is traditional Indonesian food - chicken noodle soup and rice one day, chicken fried rice and egg another day, both very tasty.
I booked a deluxe room and was given a much lower grade room upon check-in at 8pm, arriving tired after a flight and 90-min drive, but I mentioned in the morning it wasn’t what I booked so they moved me to the larger and more comfortable room in the morning.

Top, clean no problems.
Ac need a filter cleaning and the bathroom door stucks a little bit easy to fix.
