Perfect location with a beautiful view of the village and the sea. Our best accommodation yet in three weeks in Italy. Clean and well renovated flat. Well equipped kitchen. Welcoming gift of local wine and food, including gluten-free pastas! Would have stayed more than three days!

We were met by Mario who was super friendly and gave the most thorough orientation we ever had.
They provided a complimentary red wine and white wine and beer and pasta and pesto and plum cake and coffee and...and...and.
The view is actually better than shown on the photos of the Booking.com site.
High ceilings, bright and sparkling clean.
If you use the elevator near train station, it is not too hard to walk to apartment.

Excellent location and view of village! Flat was clean, modern, and well stocked with complimentary beer, wine, pasta, pesto, cookies, and 3 ways to brew coffee! Washing machine lets you do some laundry. Spacious living area, nice tv with good channels. Staying in Riomaggorie is a perfect base for the Cinquetere. The villages is very friendly and is quite in the morning and evening. Owner is attentive and always in contact if needed. I needed nothing.

If we could give a rating higher than 10, we would as everything was perfect. It’s a beautiful apartment. The cleanest apartment we have been in. Spotless. Even the bed sheets were ironed!! The apartment was extremely well equipped. There were full sets of cutlery, and crockery. It had more than adequate supplies of everything you would need including spare packets of tissues. There was filtered coffee and coffee machine with ample supplies plus selection of teas. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised as the hosts had provided us with pasta, wine, beer and local “muffins”. It just made us feel very welcome. Mario spent time explaining everything.
Mario lives in the same building and it was a comfort to know he was nearby to help if required. Paulo was constantly checking to make sure we were Ok. Paulo even offered to get us supplies on one of the days when it rained. The care they provided was incredible. There was nothing they would not do to make our visit comfortable and enjoyable.
It was much easier to walk to the centre of Riomaggiore than we expected. We took a taxi to the apartment from the station when we arrived. There is a lift but we had 2 heavy bags so we decided not to take a chance. When we left, we took the lift as it was just as easy as the taxi.
Riomaggiore is such a nice village. We visited all of the 5 villages and while they all had their unique charm, Riomaggiore was our favourite. We are very pleased with our selection and we strongly recommend this apartment.
