Such a beautiful place to stay, after 17 years of dreaming of monteriggioni. The room was gorgeous with a lovely window to look out over the street.
The check in was easy, just make sure you read the provided instructions.
Staying in this town is highly recommend: watching the streets fall quiet with the sunset after day trippers left was truly special.
The bed was large but it was just two single beds put together, and where they join was uncomfortable. I’d suggest the property get a large mattress for better comfort. However, I was still comfortable on my one side of the bed.

Lovely location. Interesting and elegant decor. Luxurious linens. Host facilitated early check in.
Couldn’t access WiFi which is important when traveling.

Monteriggioni is a small village and all accommodation are well located.
There was no communication from the host at all, i had to do a few international roaming calls to find out where to get the key, where to check in. Although we could access our room after my first call, i was told to check in after 7 pm, but not told where to check in as there was nobody at the property. At 7 pm i still had no communication and had to call again to find out where to check in. Communication could have happened via booking.com or whatsapp upfront.
