The swimming pool and the pool/spa area in general was lovely and empty most of the times. The hotel itself is a must to enjoy, from the breakfast buffet to the restaurants inside, everything exceeds expectations. The staff was very helpful, even before arriving (I had a few hickups during reservations, and they were very attentive and helpful during the whole process, and later on during our stay).
As I said, I liked everything, but before arriving I had my doubts about the location, and if I should have reserved a hotel downtown in the historical center then Marriot which is quite 'remote'. However, I was very happy with the choice; to use a grab to come back from the city center to the hotel was extremely convenient, better then to walk back to your hotel after a tiresome sightseeing day. It took about half an hour, and the prices were very effordable.

The price of the buffet is high. I did enjoy the buffet but not for the money.
