For me, single traveller, who prefers quieter and smaller towns and beaches, it was perfect.
Just one point down for the fact that on arrival I wasn't informed about the roof top kitchen & veranda, which I only found out by chance, on my 3rd day.

Cheap and cheerful within walking distance of most things. Lots of free parking near by.
Thin walls.

Very clean and very close to the center.
Bathroom very small.
Some noise from the street due to trash collection

Price was very appealing. Location is pretty good - short walk to pedestrian shopping mall in town. Short drive to Castro Marim. Also short walk to river front area.
Property in general is very basic. Room small... barely room to squeeze past the bed on one side. Room furnishings very old and dated looking.
