Comfortable room and very clean. Most staff were friendly and helpful. Good location for old town.
The road near the river is very busy - too loud to have the window open at night.
Shower control was difficult to switch off!

We had a great river and bridge view from our room, with windows that opened. The location was fantastic for walking, restaurants (like to a great Argentine restaurant a few blocks away), and wandering the old town. There's also a grand piano in the lobby. Excellent breakfast, served in a very peaceful environment just off the lobby. A/C worked well.
Decor is dated and it was very sedate. It felt frozen in time. But the people were not frozen at all. They were all kind and helpful. Could've used someone to play that lobby piano occasionally to liven it up a bit.

The breakfast was great. We really appreciate being able to check in early, for a fee.
The carpet in the hallway was not quite as clean as it could be.

Good value for money, good breakfast
So about 25 years ago it would have been a 4 star hotel, but not now! Very 00’s!
So little staff that when I called down to reception to ask for 2 pillows as the ones in the room had been road rollered Theo ly member of staff said “ come down and I can tell you where the cup are is”
That all said it’s not 3 star prices so…

"We could walk to the baths in a robe and slippers provided by the hotel. The breakfast was excellent with many choices, and the stuff was very friendly and helpful."
