8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026

The food

Lots of stairs up and down and on a rainy day. No place for bags in the room only on the floor. No privacy ,people need to use the corridor in front of your room. If you close the courtains the room becomes dark. Walls are not sound proof so you hear the neigbours talking.

A truly wonderful team! Even if someone didn't speak English, they always tried to help. Excellent breakfasts, nice rooms, and stylish interiors.

Mosquitoes were one of the biggest problems we encountered. There's absolutely nothing to do in this place without a car, although an Uber can solve this problem. The nearest town has absolutely nothing to do except head to Ilha Grande. There's no private beach, and the sea near the hotel didn't seem ideal for swimming.
