The breakfast was amazing- selection of 4 different menus to suit all tastes, well presented and a huge variety within each one. It was above and beyond for this standard of accommodation. The night porter and staff at breakfast were super friendly and genuinely helpful.
The location is down what feels like a deserted and little bit sketchy alleyway…if I were alone I would not feel safe at all, especially in the evening. We did not seem to get the room we booked, welcome drink or fruits…not a huge deal except the room we got seemed to have been half made up, missing basic items we had to ask for like hand soap, body wash and towels, and it had strong sewage smell in the bathroom. Superficially the Riad looks lovely but when you see the detail of the room it definitely needs some maintenance or refurbishment, especially in the bathroom. The standard did not match the price we paid.

It’s in the medina, so going everywhere is so convenient. It has modern touch, a nice balance to everything else so colorful in the city
We love our breakfasts. We like our room Mouasine, simple, modern, cozy but quite spacious compared to a lot of rooms in other riads. Just one thing, smell from the bathroom should have been dealt with.

A beautiful property in an excellent location. Top notch service from start to finish. The room was comfortable and clean, quiet. A lovely breakfast is served on the roof terrace. The staff makes sure you are comfortable and when I left, the man on duty walked me and my bag to the main road to ensure I was safely in a taxi. Much appreciated!

The property was very clean, beds & pillows were divine & super comfy. The staff were friendly & helpful & the Riad is located very centrally.
At AUD$400 per night, they are targeting a higher end market but there was a lot lacking for this considerably high price point.
- The Riad is quite a ways from where you can be dropped off. We are not backpackers (but reasonably fit 60 & 67yo)& were at the very start of 8 weeks away heading from Morocco heat up into the colder climate of Denmark. Nowhere on the website or in our email communication was it stated we could call the riad & ask for assistance with our bags. It was quite difficult to drag our suitcases along very rough streets in the Medina then through small alleyways to find our hotel. They told us upon arrival we could have phoned them! This would have been VERY helpful to know prior to arrival.
- you are not able to drink the water in Marrakesh, yet they ONLY supply 1x 250ml bottle of water per person upon arrival on your FIRST day! We were there for 4 nights, so only received 2 bottles of water on our first day. This is quite ridiculous, I’ve certainly NEVER experienced this in any other hotels (Riads ARE hotels basically) and in the heat, it is just not enough. Yes, we bought water, there are no fridges in the room, but at this price point they should be supplying at least 1 litre bottles of water daily per person. Any additional water you require could be purchased in the souks but we often ran out of water & it was most annoying to have nothing to drink in the middle of the night.
- the restaurant food was lovely & staff in the restaurant delightful, but they only open certain hours & there is nowhere to get a cold drink or cup of tea/ coffee outside of those hours. If they supplied a fridge or tea/ coffee facilities in your room it would not be a problem, but they don’t. So again, at this price point, I think the Riad is lacking a lot of basic hotel amenities.
