Our room had full view of Mount Fuji. A great view. Close enough to examine its details. Amazing buffets for dinner and breakfast. 3 minute shortcut woodsy walk to ropeway(gondola.)
Wouldn’t get the traditional room again. Takes two to three futons stacked up to make sleeping tolerable.

The rooms are nice and the gardens are beautiful. When the weather is clear, you can see Mount Fuji. The food is excellent—I would love to stay here again.

Loved our room with a private onsen, with the view to Mt Fuji. The public onsen was beautiful, amenities great. The best part was the included dinner with eat-all-you-can sushi and other Japanese dishes. The staff was very nice.

The women's 's Onsen did have a beautiful view of Mt Fuji... It was that photo that made us book this hotel. The outdoor pool was lovely & there were lots of amenities such as blow dryers, shampoo, lotion, etc. We were also lucky to have a view of the mountain from our room . The other photos were a little misleading.
The hotel itself is fairly run down. We did not realize that we would be eating our meals in a huge cafeteria that can hold up to 240 people. Not a very personal experience at all. We stayed in a traditional room, and the futons did not provide ample cushion cushion. The hotel needs some refurbishing.
