A decent hotel where everything worked well. We enjoyed the hot tub. Many thanks for the shared kitchen with a kettle and microwave; it was a lifesaver. Breakfast was good.

The rooms are clean and the location is beautiful. You have to be looking to be surrounded by nature as there is not much around.
But the hotel needs updates, the rooms are outdated, bad mattresses and pillows. The breakfast is very average, especially if you compare to other places in Iceland where the food is very fresh, you expect better.
I also tried to contact the hotel via booking messenger 2 days before my trip twice and only got a reply after checkout :/
